There are no charges at all for radiologists. To use the system, simply ask your hospital to assign your cases through RadSlice. Hospitals need to pay 0.25 US$ per study (Rs.10 in India) and 0.10 US$ per X-ray image (Rs.2 in India); or pay yearly 500 US$ per center (Rs.20,000 in India). Hospitals also need to install our free PACS software, and this takes about 10min to 1 hour time depending on the hospital setup. Kindly ask them to contact us for installing the software.

Access all your cases even from the comfort of your home-office and avoid unnecessary travel to hospitals. Ask your regular hospitals to assign you cases through RadSlice or apply to new hospitals on RadSlice (though hospitals normally prefer doctors they directly know).

As this is a web-based system it works on virtually all desktop and mobile platforms that can run modern browsers.

Studies assigned to you are automatically streamed to your browser as long you keep your RadSlice page open. No need to click and wait. It works efficiently both when RadSlice is used within a hospital and for teleradiology.

A homepage is created for you automatically to host your private practice. On this page you can mention your special experitise, reporting fees, payment options, etc.

View CT / MR and other DICOM-enabled images smoothly without a cluttered interface with full 16-bit windowing directly in your browser.

Type and send reports of your cases using an integrated editor while viewing images. Case reports can be saved as templates for future use. Or else, use your favourite editor and upload your reports.

View and download monthly summaries of your reported cases and the fees payable to you by your hospitals. Note that RadSlice does not pay your fees. It is paid directly by your hospitals with whom you must have a mutual agreement.

The repository of published cases can be used as a library. You can search it when dealing with difficult cases, and it can be used as training material for medical students.

Forward and receive cases from other radiologists and mutually agree to share the reporting fees. Create a friends-list, send cases and wait for their reports. Then verify and edit the reports, before submitting them back to the originating hospital. This way, you can effectively do a tele-radiology business, if desired. Note that RadSlice has no responsibility in the sharing of fees.
